Runner’s High

I found this very interesting considering I have been running quite a lot lately. Since I started my half-marathon training just over two months ago I have noticed many differences in my physical appearance but more importantly my mood. I am much more relaxed and optimistic, sleep better at night, wake up easier in the morning and overall more content on a daily basis. I also really look forward to my runs every day to the point where I get giddy! I never used to believe any of the runner’s high claims until now.

Hopefully all this running has prepared me should I ever need to chase down my dinner in the future.
