Here are two fruits I enjoy overdosing on while I am in Ecuador. Haven’t found these fresh in the US, only in frozen on rare occasion

Tomate de Arbol aka Tree Tomato

This is definitely one of my favorite fruits. This is used only to make juice since it’s very sour on its own. But the juice is amazing. I am not exactly sure how to describe it but it’s quite delicious.

Naranjilla

Not sure how you would call this but the dirct translation is little orange. Tastes nothing like an orange and is only made to make juice also because it’s too sour to eat alone. Also delicious and difficult to describe the taste.
