Happy Engineers Week to all my fellow engineers!!
Did you know that the celebration of National Engineers Week was started in 1951 by the National Society of Professional Engineers in conjunction with President George Washington’s birthday? President Washington is considered as the nation’s first engineer, notably for his survey work.
If you’re interested in showing me your appreciation for being an engineer this week, why not say it by gifitng me the new engineering barbie. We have so much in common!
Oh, and I almost forgot! Today is the 50th Anniversary since John Glenn became the first American to circle the earth aboard the Friendship 7!!
